Off the roller coaster, still spinning.
Quick glances at my heart—where am I sinning?
Jesus be near, I’ve felt myself slipping.
In the water of Your Word, I go skinny dipping.
Eyeball to eyeball, I’m not hiding.
Washed in your love, I’m abiding.
You will know me. You will know me.
Locks off, You’ll never need a key.
When You knock, I want to open.
You are Life, You are who I put my hope in.
I lay down the leaves cause I know You brought the Skin.
You wrap me in Your mercy robe, dawn begins again.
"Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.” - Genesis 3:7
“And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them." - Genesis 3:21

Love this poem.
"Jesus be near, I’ve felt myself slipping.
In the water of Your Word, I go skinny dipping."
